She also serves as Program Director of Secular Democrats of America and Co-Chair of the DNC’s Interfaith Council, where she helped pass a 2019 resolution welcoming nonreligious voters. She recently organized and moderated the DNC Interfaith Council panels at the 2024 Democratic National Convention and co-leads The Secular Vote, a new initiative on nonreligious voter engagement.

Previously, Sarah worked at the Secular Coalition for America (2013–2019), helping establish the first Secular Caucus in the Texas Democratic Party and integrating secular policy into its platform. She specializes in government relations, grassroots advocacy, strategic planning, and public speaking.
